Please find below Production Guidelines. There is currently new information being written for Cinders this will be available upon request.

Guidelines for production

6 Months Prior

• Advertise for cast, crew, directors etc
• Book halls for information nights, auditions, rehearsals and performances
• Look into grants
• Arrange script hire/licensing etc
• Prepare audition forms and production information sheets

5 Months 2 Weeks Prior

• Information night * 2

5 Months Prior

• Auditions
• Notify successful cast members
• Commence rehearsals
• Prepare rehearsal information handouts
• Book lighting people/ sound, choreographer and extra tech crew
• Arrange hire of Microphones and any extra sets or props

4 Months Prior

• Organize costuming ideas and hunt down a dress maker
• Plan posters tickets and other paraphanalia
• Cast photos and blurbs to be written out
• Send away to apra for music rights in necessary
• Advertising to promote rehearsals under way

3 Months Prior

• Cast notified of extra costuming they need to supply
• Dance routines commence
• Props and sets if not already started

2 Months Prior

• Book kiosk
• Arrange front of house crew
• More promotion through newspaper send out to tv and radio for all free sections
• Reminders and follow up on costumes
• Posters and ticket collections

1 Month Prior

• Panic for anything you should have done earlier
• More adverts
• Arrange discussions with tech crew
