WHO'S WHO AT MDS FOR 2011/2012

20 July saw us hold a successful AGM with some new members added to the committee and some familiar faces welcomed back. The highlight of the night was a presentation of the honourable Lifetime Membership Award, which was presented to Robert Woodhouse (Woody) in appreciation of his dedication and commitment to MDS since 2003. (when most of the current committee joined MDS for the first time, thanks to Woody directing Calamity Jane).

The new committee for 2011-2012 is as follows:

 

President - Ann Roffe (re-elected)

Vice President - Carolyn Walsh (newly elected)

Secretary - Beck Gardiner (re-elected)

Treasurer - John Bridgeman (re-elected)

General committee:

Alison McNair (re-elected)

Andrew Camp (new member)

Barrie Webster (re-elected)

Brian Teese (new member)

Pauline Hall (re-elected)

Sue Martin (former member returned)

 

 

Thank you to everyone for your generous offer to come to monthly meetings and make important decisions regarding the running of MDS and the welfare of its members. A huge job, and can sometimes make for a late meeting finish time and is done completely voluntarily. Without your participation, there would be no MDS.

 

If anyone is considering becoming involved, please think about next year and attending the AGM and joining the committee. As you can see, many of our committee have been re-elected, so there is always room for someone else to come along and add their input and contribute in more ways than performing.
